Out of all the communities on Fire Island Kismet is located at the westernmost part.  You can arrive to Kismet via Fire Island ferries leaving Bay Shore or by a short walk from the Robert Moses State Park field 5.  Kismet has two restaurants "The Kismet Inn" and "The Kismet Out," a small food market, two public tennis courts and one basketball court.  It also has a playground for the kids and a boat marina which is run by the Inn restaurant.
